DCS控制模式
- 在variable power input 接線頭或是在DCS控制器背部的fixed power input jack接線頭位置接上直流電或是交流電。
- 把軌道接上output jack接線頭位置。
- 設(shè)置proto-sound 2.0，或是設(shè)置安裝上軌道上的引擎
- 此時，液晶顯示屏將顯示如下數(shù)據(jù)
- 按下DCS按鍵
- 按下ADD鍵，把引擎添加到DCS控制器上
- 此時，液晶顯示屏將顯示如圖所示的引擎位置和SMPH數(shù)據(jù)
- 按下START-UP鍵，可以啟動proto-sound 2.0或者后面的引擎，液晶顯示屏將顯示聲音，亮燈和冒煙的標(biāo)志
- 向上調(diào)整轉(zhuǎn)輪到你想要的速度，這樣火車就可以開動了

DCC（pass-thru）模式
- 將DCC系統(tǒng)里的軌道輸出（track output）連接到DCS控制器的variable power input jacks接口上。
- 將DCC station通上電，與此同時，DCS控制器也將通電（只需要用DCC系統(tǒng)提供的一小部分的電）。此時，液晶顯示屏上將顯示“PASS”字樣，提示該模式。
- 用DCC手控控制器來調(diào)控DCC上的引擎。
- 如果你確定以DCS模式來運(yùn)行proto-sound 2.0或者后置引擎（later-equipped engines），你可以按DCS按鈕，就可以選擇裝有proto-sound引擎，以DCS模式發(fā)動火車模型。你也可以看到DCS控制器的液晶顯示屏上面的相應(yīng)的顯示變化數(shù)字輸入模塊。
注意：當(dāng)DCS控制器是pass-thru模式的時候，它只能在軌道上將DCC信號傳輸給引擎。DCS控制器和DCC信號用以增強(qiáng)或改變引擎無任何關(guān)系。
如何操作上述模式
模擬直流電模式
- 電源是通過variable power input 端口或是fixed power input jack接口輸入的
- 交流電輸入（AC input）可以調(diào)整為flat-line DC
- Variable input terminal接口既可以接直流電，也可以接交流電。Fixed power input原本是設(shè)計用于連接AC brick（比如MTH Z1000），但是，直流電也是可以的。
- 對于所有的直流電引擎（HO），包括MTH HO引擎，都可以考慮傳統(tǒng)模式的操作方法
