A. Insert battery 車載指南針/車載電子羅盤型號:CN61M/FAD
A. 安裝電池
1） open the rear cover for the battery.
打開電池的后蓋。
2） Insert a lithium battery CR123A with the positive （+） polarity.
按照正極方向插入CR123A鋰電池。
3） close the rear cover.
蓋上電池后蓋。
B. Attach bracket 車載指南針/車載電子羅盤型號:CN61M/FAD
配置托架
1） Slide the compass into the mounting bracket until it clicks securely into place （there is only
one suitable way to install.）.
把指南針安裝在支撐的托架上（只有一種適合的安裝方式）
2） Adjust the unit on the bracket to the best viewing angle.
在托架上調(diào)整到*視覺角度。

a） Hold the unit facing down, grasp the bracket handle, and pull it to the right to separate
the locking teeth.b
使指南針朝下，握緊托架的手柄，然后向右扭轉(zhuǎn)，使其斷開鋸齒。
車載指南針/車載電子羅盤型號:CN61M/FAD
b） Move bracket to the desired position and release the handle, let the compass re-engage
the teeth.
把托架移到合適的位置，然后放開手柄讓指南針嚙合在它上面。

c） Adjust the compass according to the altitude. For maximum accuracy, the unit had better
not be lower than 20o from its horizontal position.
根據(jù)海拔的高度適當調(diào)整。為了達到zui準確的精度，指南針不要低于水平線20ob

C. Secure to windshield
尋求擋風裝置
1） Find a spot on your windshield that allows easy viewing of both the product and the road, and
clear well.
找到合適的支點方位，使其能自由操作該裝置，達到*的視覺效果。

- For maximum accuracy, be sure the unit is at least 5 inches away from sources of
magnetic interference such as audio speakers, radios, etc.
- 為達到zui高的精度，應確保該裝置遠離磁場在5英寸范圍內(nèi)，比如揚聲器，收
音機等等。
2） Press the cupular firmly against the interference of wind.
按緊吸盤以免受到風力的影響。

SETTING UP THE COMPASS
設置指南針

The compass must be setup in order to provide accurate readings. Always calibrate the compass
AFTER the product Unit has been mounted on your windshield.
指南針需要設置以達到zui精確的度數(shù)，所以當安裝好該裝置時通常需要對該裝置進行校準。

1） Choose an area where you can swerve your vehicle freely （such as an empty parking lot）.
首先要一個可以自由轉(zhuǎn)彎的地方（比如空蕩的停車廠等地）

2） Press the SETUP button. The screen will show “CAL”, and the arrow of compass will
flashing.
按下SETUP按鈕3秒以上，屏幕會顯示“CAL”，并且指針閃動。

3） When the arrow is flashing, and you need to“TURN CAR IN FULL CIRCLE.”
當指針閃爍時，需要將車“旋轉(zhuǎn)一周”。

4） Drive your vehicle in one complete circle （any direction）. Once you’ve begun the maneuver,
press the SETUP button, the screen will display “0 “ in the compass area, and it will enter the
compass adjustment for the magnetic declination.
將車旋轉(zhuǎn)一周后（可任意方向），一旦你執(zhí)行該操作時，按下SETUP按鈕，屏幕
會在COMPASS處顯示“0”，即進入磁偏角調(diào)整狀態(tài)。

5） The range of magnetic declination is from -90°（west） to +90°（east）, and press the “on”
and “off” button to increase and reduce separay.
磁偏角的調(diào)整范圍是-90°（西）—— +90°（東），按“ON”和“OFF”鍵分別進行
加和減來調(diào)整。

6） When the adjustment of magnetic declination is finish, press the “SETUP” button to enter the
state of voltage setting, and the range of setting is “A1——A8”, press “ON” and “ OFF” button to
increase and reduce separay.
調(diào)整完磁偏角后，按“SETUP”鍵進入電壓設置狀態(tài)，其設置范圍是“A1—A8”，按“ON”
和“OFF”鍵進行加和減來設置。

7） Press the “SETUP” button again to enter the state of compress work period setting, and the
range of setting is 1——120s （normally for 2s）, press “ON” and “ OFF” button to increase and
reduce separay.
再按“SETUP”鍵進入指南針工作時間調(diào)整狀態(tài)，其調(diào)整范圍是 1—120分鐘（上電默認為
2分鐘），按“ON”和“OFF”鍵進行加和減來調(diào)整。

8） When all the above operations are finished, the compass setting is completed. Changing your
bracket angle, the mounting location or the battery will require you to calibrate the compass again.
當上述操作完成后，指南針設置即完成。當改變了托架的角度之后，隨著方向定位的改變
需要重新校準電子指南針。

9）Press the “SETUP” button on conditions that adjusting time, the hour lighting firstly, press
“ON” and “ OFF” button to increase and reduce separay, and press the “SETUP” button to
adjust minute, second and 12/24 hours mode.
時間狀態(tài)下輕按“SETUP”鍵設置時間，首先小時閃爍，此時按“ON”和“OFF”鍵進
行加和減來調(diào)整小時，依次按“SETUP”鍵調(diào)整分鐘、秒鐘、12/24小時制。

NOTE: For maximum accuracy, all compasses should be reseted every 3 months due to ongoing
changes in magnetic fields.
注意：因為磁場的不斷變化，為達到zui高的精度，所有的電子指南針都需要每3月重新設置
校準。

THE DESCRIPTION OF USING THE BUTTONS
按鍵使用說明
A. Button Functions
按鍵功能
ON – turns the Display Unit on
ON – 打開車載電子指南針裝置
LIGHT – turns the backlight on and off
LIGHT – 背光的開或關
oF/oC – switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius readings
oF/oC – 華氏溫度和攝氏溫度的轉(zhuǎn)換
SETUP – begins to set up compass
SETUP – 按3S進入指南針設置，輕按進入時間設置
OFF – turns the Display Unit off
OFF – 切斷電源
B. Automatic On and Off
自動開關裝置
1） When connected to the 12V transformer, the product display unit will automatically turn on
when your vehicle engine is started.
連接12V的變壓器，當你在啟動汽車時，該裝置會自動打開顯示。
2） The product display unit will shut off automatically if there is not any direction changes in ten
minutes.
如果定時時間到，指南針功能會自動關閉。

C. Backlight
背光
1） When battery operated:
電池供電
a. Press the LIGHT button, the backlight will keep on for two minutes.
按下LIGHT按鈕,背光將持續(xù)亮15秒鐘。

b. Press the LIGHT button again to turn off the backlight.
重復按下LIGHT按鈕可開/關背光。

2） When 12-volt operated:
12伏供電
If your unit is connected to a 12V socket, the backlight will automatically turn on in low-light
conditions, while turn off in high-light conditions.
如果裝置連接在12V插座上，背光在光線暗淡的地方會自動打開，在白天則自動關閉；且在
屏幕左上角將有電池充電圖案顯示。

READING THE DISPLAY
輸出顯示
A. Compass Directions
指南針方向
1） The steering wheel of compass provides the direction which your vehicle is headed in
capital of first letter （N, NW, etc.）
指南針方向盤指示你駕駛車的方向，顯示為首大寫字母（N, NW等等）。

2） The directional arrow in the compass will change its readings as the vehicle changes direction.
指南針箭頭隨著汽車方位的改變而改變。

3） The Compass screen provides a precise numeric readout, which means the angle of your
direction.指南針屏幕可顯示方位的確切數(shù)據(jù)，既方向的度數(shù)。
B. Temperature Signals
溫度信號
1） When first turned on, it will display the INSIDE TEMP field while the unit receives a signal
from the Temp Sensor.
剛打開時，在指南針收到的是內(nèi)溫傳感器信號。

2）Temperature readings can be switched from F to C （press the F/C button to toggle）.
溫度數(shù)據(jù)可以在華氏溫度和攝氏溫度之間轉(zhuǎn)換。
NOTE: Temperature readings may be inaccurate while the vehicle is parked. It won’t read the
temperature until the vehicle is startup for second minutes and the air flows to the sensor.
注意：如果汽車停下來，溫度的顯示數(shù)據(jù)會有誤差，只有在汽車啟動時，氣流通過傳感器感
應才能測量到溫度。
D. Magnetic Distortion Warning
磁場警告
1） The compass is temporarily unable to provide accurate readings due to a disturbance in the

magnetic field （for instance, when you’re crossing railroad tracks）, a magnet icon, “ALARM” will
display in the upper left corner of the screen.
如果受到磁場的，指南針的精確度會受到暫時的影響（比如穿過鐵路時），屏幕的左
上方會顯示磁鐵的圖案”ALARM”。

2） Once your vehicle has moved away from the source of interference, the magnet icon will
disappear.
一旦遠離磁場領域，該圖案會消失。

3） If the magnet icon continues flashing, calibrate the compass again.
如果顯示了磁鐵的圖案，指南針需要重新校準。
D．Battery Low Warning
低電警告

When battery in your Display Unit or Temp Sensor is low, a Battery Low icon will appear on the
display as follows:
若指南針或溫度傳感器的電池即將消耗完會有電壓低的圖案顯示如下：
1） There is the icon in the left bottom corner indicated the condition of battery is low..
在屏幕左下角顯示低電壓圖案表示電池處于低電壓狀態(tài)。
TROUBLESHOOTING
故障排除
A. The temperature reading on the display appears to be incorrect.
解決溫度顯示數(shù)據(jù)不準。
1） Adjust the Sensor location if needed. Ensure the location of Sensor meets the requirements as
following:
根據(jù)需要調(diào)整傳感器的位置，確保符合以下要求：

At least 3 to 4 inches away from the radiator so that it won’t be interfered by the heat from
engine
至少保持遠離輻射物體3到4英寸，這樣才不會受到附近的發(fā)動機的影響。
Sitting away from direct sunlight （for instance, on the inside of your vehicle bumper, rather
than the outside）
放置在避免太陽的直射的地方（例如，汽車緩沖器的里面而不是外面）。
Located in an area that allows airflow smoothly around the sensor
氣流通順的地方。
2） Remember that the temperature readings will be inaccurate while the vehicle is parked. It
won’t read the temperature until the vehicle is startup for several minutes and the air flows to
the sensor.注意當汽車停下來時，溫度的數(shù)據(jù)是不準確的。只有在汽車啟動幾分鐘時，氣
流通過傳感器感應才能測量到溫度。

B. The solution for the inaccurate display of compass’s direction
解決指南針方向顯示的誤差
1） Be sure you’ve calibrated the compass according to the instructions in section #5 before
using.
確保在使用之前已經(jīng)根據(jù)指南針設置進行了校準。
2） Check to see that the batteries are in good working conditions, and then set up the compass
again.
確保電池處于正常的工作狀態(tài)，然后重新設置指南針。
3） Check whether the magnet icon is flashing in the upper left corner. If there is, it indicates the
compass has encountered interference, and you will need to setup the compass again.
檢查是否受到了磁場的外界，如果有強磁警告需要重新校準。
4） If you’ve just moved the product to a new location, calibrate the compass again.
如果改變了指南針裝置的位置，需要重新校準。
