Controllers to rely on
The ExC controller range offers the appropriate control platform for all applications from compact device control to complex CNC applications. Processor performance, memory and programming can be selected for each application on the basis of current industry standards. The following performance classes are available:
ExC55: The controller for basic requirements
The basic version for PLC, motion control and CNC applications, with a broad range of interfaces such as Ethernet TCP/IP, RS232 CANopen® for the direct connection of fieldbus terminals and drive controllers, offered as standard configuration.
ExC66: The controller for the higher power range
The ExC66 model is the standard controller for CNC, SPS and motion control applications in the higher power range. Its technical highlights include a powerful microcontroller with minimum energy consumption, the option of memory extension via SC card and interface versatility (4x CANopen®, USB, RS232C, real-time Ethernet).
ExC66 / H43: SERCOS III for fast, integrated networking
The ExC66 model is also available with a SERCOS III interface. ECKELMANN has thus elected to focus on a future-oriented communication system as a basis for fast and integrated communication between controls, drives and I/O peripherals.
Industrial automation benefits from this manufacturer-independent, real-time communication solution: SERCOS III will increase flexibility and performance in machine automation. The support of the TCP/IP protocol facilitates the simple development of integrated information infrastructures from field to planning level.
ExC66c: The compact controller
This is a particularly space-saving controller, whose optimised scope of functions and interfaces offers a favourable price-to-performance ratio. It is used for small and medium-sized PLC applications.
PLC, motion control and CNC complete solution
Equipped with the proven software libraries, ExC controllers with their appropriate I/O modules are turned into powerful complete solutions for machine control:
· ENC (CNC) with NC operating system, standard HMI for PC and DIN programming – up to 16 axes
· ELC (SPS)with CoDeSys® programming tool in accordance with IEC 61131-3
· EMC (Motion) with additional motion library for up to 64 axes
Control engineering, tried and tested:
· Hardware in application-specific performance classes, tried and tested many times
· Fieldbus and local bus modules for the fast and safe connections of all inputs and outputs

Panel industrial PC of the FIPC range
Due to its industry-standard design, the industrial PCs of the FIPC range meet the very highest demands regarding robustness and durability. Size, performance and configuration can be individually chosen from a wide range of options. This allows for operating and monitoring solutions which are optimally adapted to the machine’s functional requirements and environment.
The FIPC’s performance can easily be scaled over time. Also, we guarantee continuous follow-on products for all models. Because of their compact dimensions, the industrial PCs can be installed in racks, cabinets, switchboards and swing gates in a space-saving way.
