The ExC con­troller range of­fers the ap­pro­pri­ate con­trol plat­form for all ap­pli­ca­tions from com­pact de­vice con­trol to com­plex CNC ap­pli­ca­tions. Pro­ces­sor per­for­mance, mem­o­ry and pro­gram­ming can be se­lect­ed for each ap­pli­ca­tion on the ba­sis of cur­rent in­dus­try stan­dards. Ex­C55: The con­troller for ba­sic re­quire­ments

The ba­sic ver­sion for PLC, mo­tion con­trol and CNC ap­pli­ca­tions, with a broad range of in­ter­faces such as Eth­er­net TCP/IP, RS232 CANopen® for the di­rect con­nec­tion of field­bus ter­mi­nals and drive con­trollers, of­fered as stan­dard con­fig­u­ra­tion.

Ex­C66: The con­troller for the high­er pow­er range

The Ex­C66 mod­el is the stan­dard con­troller for CNC, SPS and mo­tion con­trol ap­pli­ca­tions in the high­er pow­er range. Its tech­ni­cal high­lights in­clude a pow­er­ful mi­cro­con­troller with min­i­mum en­er­gy con­sump­tion, the op­tion of mem­o­ry ex­ten­sion via SC card and in­ter­face ver­sa­til­i­ty (4x CANopen®, USB, RS232C, re­al-time Eth­er­net).

Ex­C66 / H43: SER­COS III for fast, in­te­grat­ed net­work­ing

The Ex­C66 mod­el is al­so avail­able with a SER­COS III in­ter­face. ECK­EL­MANN has thus elect­ed to fo­cus on a fu­ture-ori­ent­ed com­mu­ni­ca­tion sys­tem as a ba­sis for fast and in­te­grat­ed com­mu­ni­ca­tion be­tween con­trols, drives and I/O pe­riph­er­als.

In­dus­tri­al au­toma­tion ben­e­fits from this man­u­fac­tur­er-in­de­pen­dent, re­al-time com­mu­ni­ca­tion so­lu­tion: SER­COS III will in­crease flex­i­bil­i­ty and per­for­mance in ma­chine au­toma­tion. The sup­port of the TCP/IP pro­to­col fa­cil­i­tates the sim­ple de­vel­op­ment of in­te­grat­ed in­for­ma­tion in­fras­truc­tures from field to plan­ning lev­el.

Ex­C66c: The com­pact con­troller

This is a par­tic­u­lar­ly space-sav­ing con­troller, whose op­ti­mised scope of func­tions and in­ter­faces of­fers a favourable price-to-per­for­mance ra­tio. It is used for small and medi­um-sized PLC ap­pli­ca­tions.

In­dus­tri­al PCs and op­er­a­tor ter­mi­nals which can be adapt­ed to the spe­cif­ic con­di­tions of a ma­chine in terms of per­for­mance and de­sign are the flex­i­ble and open hard­ware plat­form for op­er­at­ing & mon­i­tor­ing in ma­chine au­toma­tion.

Due to its in­dus­try-stan­dard de­sign, the in­dus­tri­al PCs of the FIPC range meet the very high­est de­mands re­gard­ing ro­bust­ness and dura­bil­i­ty. Size, per­for­mance and con­fig­u­ra­tion can be in­di­vid­u­al­ly cho­sen from a wide range of op­tions. This al­lows for op­er­at­ing and mon­i­tor­ing so­lu­tions which are op­ti­mal­ly adapt­ed to the ma­chine’s func­tion­al re­quire­ments and en­vi­ron­ment.

The FIPC’s per­for­mance can eas­i­ly be scaled over time. Al­so, we guar­an­tee con­tin­u­ous fol­low-on prod­ucts for all mod­els. Be­cause of their com­pact di­men­sions, the in­dus­tri­al PCs can be in­stalled in racks, cab­i­nets, switch­boards and swing gates in a space-sav­ing way.
