概要?特點
This product is an expansion card that adds an counts input interface to the Raspberry Pi. It has one channel of 32-bit up/down counters, allowing external devices such as a rotary encoder and a linear scale to be connected. The pulse signal interface is an opto-coupler isolated input.
- Push-type terminal block for easy wiring
- The CPI Series includes a push-type terminal block for convenient, simple connection and disconnection of wired HATs without the need for tools or crimping terminals.
- Connectivity for up to 8 cards
- Connect up to 8 expansion cards of the same series. Use the Board ID setting switch on the main body to identify connected expansion cards.* The Board ID setting switch cannot be set to 4 when using the CPI-RAS.
- API compatible with PC expansion cards and Python-compatible API
- Take advantage of API compatibility with CONTEC PCI Express, PCI, USB, and Ethernet-type measurement control devices. Development assets can be reused across multiple platforms. Linux driver (API-TOOL for Linux) can be downloaded for free from the company’s website along with sample Python and GCC programs, allowing users to begin programming right away.
- 32-bit up-and-down counter
- The 32 bit up-and-down counter could have four channels and up to 500kHz maximum speed pulse input. Moreover, it can count 2-phase signals and mono-phase signals such as a rotary encoder and a linear scale.
- Opto-coupler bus isolation
- As the GPIO 40pin connector on Raspberry Pi is isolated from the input and output interfaces by opto-couplers, this product has excellent noise performance.
- Linux compatible driver software
- Using the counter input driver API-CNT(LNX) makes it possible to create applications of Linux.
